Tell Congress that Healthcare Taxes and Mandates are at the Expense of Manufacturing Jobs

Rising healthcare costs have been damaging manufacturers’ ability to provide robust health coverage to employees and are also hindering economic growth. Congress has heard manufacturers’ concerns and is taking aim today at a number of costly taxes associated with the Affordable Care Act.

Take action now by sending a letter, a Tweet or Facebook message to Washington urging the repeal of the:

  • Medical device tax
  • 3.8% net investment tax
  • Health insurance tax
  • “Cadillac” tax on high cost plans (through 2026)
  • Tax on prescription medications

The U.S. House of Representatives is voting on Thursday, May 4 to repeal the above healthcare related taxes.

Before this vote, it is essential that your member of Congress hears from you and others in your network that manufacturers support repealing these costly and onerous taxes and mandates!

After you take action, please share this alert with colleagues, coworkers, staff, friends and family.
